Meet the Founder

Ahmet Noyan
Owner & Founder
Ahmet Noyan grew up in Istanbul, Türkiye, where he was immersed in Turkish art, culture, and traditional craftsmanship from an early age. Surrounded by the colors of mosaic lamps, the ritual of Turkish coffee, and decorative arts found throughout the city, creativity became a natural part of his life.
In 2020, Ahmet began hosting his first workshops in Istanbul, starting with Turkish Mosaic Lamp making. He later expanded into Turkish coffee brewing on sand, vitrail glass art, pressed flower art, rug tufting and other culturally inspired craft experiences.
He brought this vision to the United States and founded DMV Art Studio in Sterling, Virginia — creating a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds can gather, create, and connect through art.
